2006 yukon.
Low heat output, lukewarm in cool weather but weather like we're having here in ny now means im freezing inside my truck like I was yesterday.
I se the actuator is the most common issue and looks like an easy replacement and the part is 30.00 on amazon. I know I should be thinking oem but money is so tight right now i cant even afford the 30.00 amazon part. I lost my business and havent worked for about a year and half because of heart issues.
That said, I read somewhere on the internet of someone getting to it and manually opening or something like that so heat was at full output. I dont know if he was talking about the same thing but thought id ask here if that is possible or any way to fix, even temporarily, the existing piece so I can have some heat?
Thanks guys
Happy Holidays and be safe
