I say go all chrome trim so it'll match your new rims. You don't see those rims too often either which is definitely a good thing as it keeps your ride unique :)

I looked into having the front skid plate painted back when I had the bumper cover painted. Thae skid plate is plated, not painted, and according to my paint guy, getting paint to stick well is a huge issue - it would easily chip with any little hit from gravel or minor road debris. I didnt want to risk having new paint get all chipped and end up looking much worse than just leaving it as is.

Edit: I have seen on ebay someone selling skid plates that were chrome plated. If I went that route, Id have to include mirror caps and handles. Its pretty much an all or nothing mod IMO.
