Thanks everybody for helping me buy a Tahoe this year (2011, Z71, 117k miles). I got it so I can haul my kids up to ski this winter and Bikes down here in Denver. Just got my Blizzaks on, I love them !

Agree, I had them on a couple of different vehicles.

I eyed those up for SO long. 90 winter driving, but didn't want to deal with two sets of tires.

It is hard to believe those work well looking at the tread, but I read the theory that a snow tire should hold the snow, not clear it's treads like a mud tire. Snow on snow traction works best, so you want the treads to pack and hold snow.

I put a set of nokian hakkapeliitta's on my 2011 escalade. Mounted on 17" tahoe rims....thing is unstoppable in the winter
