So first clear plastiidip and then install the flaps???

Now in the winter time I just can't stand all the dirt/mud the tires are kicking. Maybe just for the winter time then take them off

GiB, ive heard that too. I haven't taken mine off but I pressure wash the dirt out of the crevices where the guards contact the paint each time i wash, and have pulled it back to look and haven't noticed any marring of the paint. The way my weathertechs bolt on I'm not sure how they would rub, but I wouldn't doubt that they may.

I'll have to check them in spring and see.

It's snowing in Seattle now :)
