Blower motor on 1997 Tahoe

Blower motors typically don't pass through the resistor on the highest setting.

Could be a couple of things. Obviously check all the fuses first. Then I would check for 12 volts at the plug on the motor with the fan on high.

Thanks Dylan, you are correct. A quick trip to the salvage yard for a gently used switch and good to go!

clean out the airbox behind the fan. leaves n crap build up there and cause water to hang out and leak into the car

I'm going to have to check out what you said sometime soon. I do run the defrost in the winter time to keep my windows clear, Sunlit. I'll have to look into the cowl idea also. It's an 18 year old truck so I'm sure there is something amiss with it somewhere.
