Blower Motor Problem

Don't recall seeing a thread for this problem.

All low speed settings seem to work correctly, high speed works but drops the voltage gauge down to 12v when at idle. At speed the gauge sort of bounces back and forth. Pulling way to much power. Resistor pack to blame or should I attack it from a different angle?

As far as I can tell the charging system is working as it should, starts fine and the system has not affected the gauge position.

How does your belt and tensioner react when you turn on some heavy loads?

At high a relay bypasses the resistor and direct connects to voltage bus at roughly 20 amps.

I'll check it tomorrow at work when its light outside.

wouldn't think that would be an issue because it charges and shows fine with my HIDS, off road lights, and system on. tensioner & belt was replaced early last year IIRC, alternator was the summer before. has been ridiculously cold here the last week, just for ***** and giggles I'll throw the load tester on the truck at work tomorrow and see what is shows.
