blower wires melted question ?

i changed the blower and still did not have high speed.

i could not find the resistor anywhere. can someone tell me where it is? - i found a tech write up in this forum that shows me where the resistor is. it is supposedly behind 2 bundles of wires is why i didn't see it.

The resistor is located behind the glove box on top of the heater box. You will see just the top of it and had two screws on it, I think they were 7mm screws and a pain to get to with big hands. There is a relay just in front of it that may need changing as well, may be best to get from GM dealer for both.
