Blowing radio fuse

Hey all, new to this forum here and newish to the tahoe life. I have a 2001 blue indigo with barndoors and around 130,000 miles. So hello. Anyways was wondering if anybody here have come across a issue of blowing radio 15amp fuses under the hood. I had a pioneer 7700bt installed (flip out touch screen) and ever since i have had the fuse go bad 3 times and everytime it happens its when I start the truck. Never when its on. It does not happen often but 3 times in the last 5 months or so. I was told the wiring was fine and the unit was bought new, im going to take a look myself but figured id start by seeing if anybody has delt with this problem before. Thanks!
