Bluetooth headphones wont pair with my Rear entertainment system

I can not get my Bluetooth headphones to connect to the rear entertainment system. It isn't finding them when they are in pairing mode. Am I doing something wrong? When it did find it it kept saying pairing failed.

I have a 2021 yukon xl.
I am so beyond frustrated with this.

Please anyone help me!!

Are you referring to Bluetooth headphones like you use with your cell phone or the ones that came with the vehicle? I haven't tried to connect Bluetooth headphones so i can't address that other than what it says in the owners manual. The GM headphones aren't Bluetooth. To connect make sure the headphones have clear line of sight with the lower portion of the passenger side screen. That's where the headphone communication connects. If you look at that area from an angle, you'll see it. If that doesn't work, I guess it's dealer time.
