Thank you, sir. Thinking of killing the CD altogether. I purchased a DAP (Digital Audio Player) with bluetooth. Thinking of storing all my HQ audio in it, it will also function as a remote.

Yes, it can be applied to any stereo. Wiring on the stereo board will be different, but same application.

I have been looking to do this. However, I have a tape deck on my setup. I hope to splice into the tape deck. Then also somehow have the controls in the head unit to switch songs on my phone etc, and take calls. Haven't found exactly how to get the controls on the head unit to work like that though. Do you know?
