I know this topic have been covered in many other threads but i want to hear back from any one who uses the remotelink app and whether or not they needed to use a splitter/diplexer in order to get it to work properly.

An example would be using a BT VCIM from a 2010 or 2011 gm truck and putting it into a 2007 08 or 09 truck. On 07-09 truck there is a blue and purple antenna connection on the back of the factory VCIM but on the newer 2010-11 trucks there is only 1 connector and its purple not counting the bluetooth antenna.

I posted this because i cant seem to find clear cut results on whether the splitter/diplexer is need for onstar remotelink app

So Im assuming you have this setup? So to confirm Bluetooth/OnStar/Remotelink all work with just the one antenna attached? So the few people that spent money and connected the diplexer didn't need to do that after all?
