I vote a sporty hood to go with the sport theme. Like a ram air or cowl induction.

I candied my amber turn too. Looks 1000 times better till I pick out aftermarket tails later

No that I'm complaining at all, this is looking good and what I expected when I first saw this post. But, what made you want to lower and off road truck versus a 2wd? Iv always wondered what this looked like and I'm sure they're out there somewhere, just never seen one.

24s are bangin tho, they look way bigger for some reason on this truck than on others I'v seen, maybe its the fender flares?

The only two reasons I chose the 4wd was because "AWD" and "Why not?" LOL. The winners here are more icy than deep snow so I wanted the 4wd option.

as for the wheel proportion, could be the style, no clue. Might also be the way it's painted. Might also be the fact the wheels are pushed out further to sit better with the flares.

the hood is TBD... I plan to make something as apposed to buy something. But thanks for the photo. I like it and will work until I get the led ones I want.

Today I decided to see if I could figure out how to make this Offroad package more street-ish.. So I picked up some vinyl rain gutters at Lowes for $6 each (10 feet) and whipped out the heat gun.

Here are the photos of the outcome of about 30 minutes of work with them.

Pulled the side steps

Mock up/test fit

and shaped to fit the contour of the Z71 plastics.

Now I need to plastic weld the edge up and possibly run a filler along the seam, rough everything up and, for the mean time, hit it with some spray on bedliner. Hopefully I can get some of this done this weekend, but we will see...

cant wait to see how this turns out

I'm pleased. Color match with a satin clear and it'll be perfect!

and cheap... lol...

There's still a little work I have to do to clean it up, but it's getting there. MUCH happier with the way this thing looks with the darker front air dam and side skirts instead of the steps. Also blacked out the plastics on the rear bumper.

Used some of that crappy Rustoleum truck bed liner that comes in a spray can from Autozone. It worked pretty well lol. Plus, it will be a good base layer when I eventually lay down the color matched green.

Still have to do the passenger side.

I also have a lower bumper extension on the way, picked up for $34 from rock auto. This will line the bottom of the front bumper with the bottom of the skirts. Annoys the hell out of me that they are uneven.

And surprisingly, a "new" front bumper (used but in good condition) is hard to find locally for a decent price. All of them are outside my travel time windows that I currently have and my rusty, cancered front metal section annoys me.

What did you use on the rear bumper plastics ?
And are you talking about the 05-06 front lip piece? (I don't think I've seen that piece on a z71 bumper)
