I had a quick question.
When doing a 3in body lift is there anything else i have to do? As in with the steering or wires?

Thanks in advance

Steering- Nope. You're not altering the suspension. All your doing is lifting the body from the frame. However, I'd get a alignment when you have different tires put on (Assuming your truck is stock and your doing a body lift to run larger tires)

As for the wiring, I don't think so. But hopefully some one who has done a body lift can chime in. I've never done a body lift, because I personally do not like them.

I installed a 3" bl on my yukon 2 weeks ago. I didn't have to do anything with any wires, just watch as you're lifting that nothing stretches beyond its limit.

My body lift kit came with a steering extension. I probably didn't have to use it, but it made me feel better to put it on. Better safe than sorry.

There's a tutorial on how to do a body lift on an OBS truck over at www.gmt400.com. It's a sticky under the "stock suspension and bolt ons" category on their forum. It helped me a lot with my install. This was my first time lifting and it went real well in my driveway with just hand tools and a big breaker bar.
