Bogging down when accelerated

HELLO, I HAVE A 95 TAHOE 2door, 350. When you ease on the gas pedal it does fine, but you tromp it to pass, or give it more throttle to go up a hill, it acts like it's not getting gas. The rpms go up but it slows down? It acts retarded, like it's holding itself back? I'm new to the Chevy world, I've changed the plugs, wires, module, coil, fuel filter, air filter. Does the TPS, control that? It also idles real high and does until you're completely stopped then it idles down.

Sounds like your transmission is slipping...

Check engine light on? Scanned for any codes? Checked fuel pressure? Engine and fuel system been changed at all?

I'm new to the Chevy world, I've changed the plugs, wires, module, coil, fuel filter, air filter. Does the TPS control that?
It also idles real high and does until you're completely stopped then it idles down.

Clean or replace your MAF sensor.
Replace your Idle Air Control motor.
Replace your Throttle Position sensor.
(By the way, there's a shift table that compares measured road speed against throttle position.
Too little speed and/or too much throttle is basically what commands a downshift or delays an upshift.)

If those don't work, have your 4L60E serviced, and see if any solenoids need replacing,
before putting a new ATF filter and new ATF back in.

My feeling is fuel pressure regulator on throttle body. First bucket test fuel pump output at filter for proper quantity per minute.
