I know this was asked before in another thread, but no one really answered, they just said it was bad. Now i know more performance usually means worse mileage...but how much worse.

For those of you with blowers, what MPG do you get (please dont just say it bad, throw out a number)

I would really be interested in anyone with a turbo!!

The problem here is the mpg will be greatly affected by many factors, but the 2 that have the most impact are your right foot and the tune. According to the EPA my 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged should have averaged 29mpg on the highway. In reality it was slightly worse than that (26-27 mpg). Shrinking the pulley over ½ an inch, nearly doubling the injector size, and a good tune not only made me faster than C6 Corvettes, but got 40 mpg on the highway too, according to the car DIC which only showed average numbers and not instant fuel economy.

Agreed. Driving style and tune makes a huge difference. Still a number would be good info.

Plus, im sure those with blowers all put their foot down now and then and get some kind of a tune.

Thanks for the numbers. keep em comin.

ive done a decent amount of research and most of the blown 6.0 lq guys are seeing anywhere from 8-12 while running premium gas. I want to get a blower on mine in due time...or just buy a new cts-v to daily lol

My guess would be around the 8-10 mark.

Jenna: it must be the BB tune!

I would be happy with at least double digits. 8 sounds painful.

The TBSS MPGs are horrible, but those things are gas guzzlers stock. The truck is so so, but both those vehicles are pushing over 600HP!

more hp at lower rpm's means more mpg's but it also means a heavier foot so mpg idea goes out the window catch 22 huh. by the way any turbo kits out there? or turbo installs?
