Sorry for no recent updates, work has been a nightmare with our company splitting into two. The exhaust is getting a little throatier as it burns in. I haven't had it on any long trips to figure mileage yet but I have noticed it maintains V4 mode up near 75 which it did not do very often before. Performance wise, probably about the same might be a little quicker but who knows without a dyno. I like the sound of the truck now and the wife likes it as well. She commented it sounded like her TrailBlazer SS when I fired it up.
I do not notice the truck going in or coming out of V4 mode like I did with the stock exhaust. I could feel a little added push of the pedal to get the movement I wanted with the stock exhaust. With the Borla, I don't need the extra push to drop back to V8 mode, it tends to drop right in quickly. I'll try to get a video today of the sound and a drive.

Anyone with the Borla setup notice the stock V4 vibration reduced or eliminated once the Borla was added?

My experience in reading about the Borla V4 'drone' extensively on this forum and others lead me to choose the GM Borla (with flapper, there are several posts that include this part number). I have this version on my PPV and there is absolutely NO drone, even when it went in to V4 mode. Average mileage is up from 18 to just under 20, but I installed an AFE intake and Diablew 87 octane tune shortly after the exhaust went on. Also, some reported noticeable 'drone' with the 'standard' Borla system when in V4 mode. *If* you tune out the V4, that appears to solve that issue, so if you are planning a tune, it's really six on one hand, half dozen on the other. IMHO, given the GM Borla does not have this drone, honestly, I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't just the buy that version (price is about the same if you shop around). One can even choose tip style, where the standard Borla come with polished tips only.

The 6.2l kit for the Yukon is a 3" pipe. The factory exhaust is a 3.5". Some here have claimed it gives them more power, others claim it's noticeably reduced their power.

The Sierra kit does NOT shrink the pipe to 3", it keeps it at 3.5" all the way through.

Installed the touring Borla GM performance exhaust, saw HP gains so should answer the Borla 3" vs OEM 3.5" debate

Only 100 miles, 4-6 HP increase and around 1.5 better MPG

No noticeable difference in sound on highways, which is what I wanted, and no droning
