I have an 05 Denali with Bose navigation. Lately I have noticed that the navigation screen has a red "gps" displaying. This is supposed to mean that the gps signal is weak. It happens on clear days, no clouds or buildings.

Is there a way to access a debug/service menu to see what if any actual satelite signals are weak?

I am wondering if it is certain signals or possibly a wiring problem in the antenna.

Thanks

While nav screen showing, press "nav rpt". Then press and hold "config" for 10-15 seconds until menu comes up.

Warning, some options are scary looking. Not responsible if you brick your unit if you try this.
