Bose speaker whine

try turning down the gmos04, i had that same whine and when i turned down the gmos it went away.

you talking the potentiometer dave?

and even if i did that it still wouldnt fix my issue with the rca's for my sub out i dont believe, but its worth a shot, easier to turn that down than to find a new ground

I some what had the same issue. Whining sound and bad voltage drop lights diming even when my stereo was off. I cleaned all my grounds and added bigger wire. And while I was under the hood I saw my static ground was disconnected; fixed that also, and my problem was solved.
