I figured mine out. it was all the settings for the crossover on my headunit! MUCH better now

no real need... don't need that much boom anymore.

I wouldn't call it real boom, hell I have the dual 10's in the suburban and its decent for filling it out but not a ground pounder....just the simple facts a 6.5 can't go low like a 10 or larger can.

makes total sense but as I said, after turning mine on I'm happy. I'm a DJ so last thing I need is more bass in my life LOL

Does anybody have any advice for me.. I got a static problem.. when the HU is on volume 0 u can hear loud static .. I have a kenwood double din I also have 3 12s but I only get static through the door speakers
