well the place I bought the wheels from is sending me the hub centric rings. I will put those in first. If that doesn't work both the Chevy dealers here do have Road Force machines for balancing and I will take it there.

I'm about positive if you get hub rings that will fix it. I believe the right rings for those wheels are 108.2 to 78.1!:D

Hubcentric rings center the rim to the hub. They took care of a slight wobble I was getting.

Ok, so I got the Hub rings, still wobbled, then I finally took it to get Road Force Balanced. The guy at the shop said one of the wheels was BENT! He put it on the machine and showed me the wobble. So after about 5 hours of wasted time and over $100 spent trying to fix the wobble, it was the one bent wheel the whole time. I just emailed the guys I bought the wheels from on Ebay and I am awaiting a response. As far as I am concerened they owe me a new wheel, plus the $100 bucks I spent on hubs and rebalancing trying to correct the issue. Why can't things just go smooth? Anyway, I will keep you posted on the situation.

Here's the deal the are several different issues here. A wheel can be balanced with weights in several different positions. The ideal balance would be a weight on the back lip and a tape weight as far away from the back lip as possible. If you do a dynamic balance and the weight is to close it will not balance properly. At one point I thought boss built that wheel hub centric. Hub rings help center the wheel on the hub, nothing more. This reduces and can eliminate the wheel being off center when the lugs are torques. They can reduce wobble at low speeds. If the shops balancer is off calibration or the person is not able to spot a bent wheel. I would recommend a better shop.
