have you checked the grounds at the tail lights?
check the connector along the driver side frame rail at the back just before the bumber for corrosion (green in terminals) , its a 4 wire conector, you are looking for the green wire.
It may have a hoppy (a t connector for trailer wiring), if you dont need trailer wiring, remove hoppy and plug in together male and female factory connectors.
check power there and if its good, remove tail light and check power there as well.
If all is good at the tail light, change the bulb, you may have got a dud, even new bulbs can be duds.

I already checked all the connectors on the outside of the vehicle with a multi meter, the drivers side had power at all the connections but the passenger side had nothing. Is there a ground on the passenger side rear? I checked the drivers side. I dont think that would matter anyway because I checked the connectors farther up in the system.

if you had the power at the drivers side, the passenger side feeds from that drivers side connector, the problem will be between the connector there along the bumber to the passenger side.
that truck is to old i believe to have the left and rear tail light fuses.
take your multi-meter and put black end into the tail light connector in the black wire terminal, and check power to the other 3 terminals that way. this will determine if you have a good ground. (make sure its close to 12 volts at all terminals)

There are green(passenger brake/signal) and yellow(drivers side brake/signal) wires that run all the way up to the firewall, the rest from the the tail lights all feed together. The running lights and reverse lights work so I thought that would rule out the ground. But its something easy to check so I will give it a try, I hope thats it.

Thinking about the issue, it cant be a ground problem in the back because im grounding it with the multi-meter at all the plugs. I made it all the way up to the plug by the frame/firewall and it still wasnt showing any volts. Since it is doing the fast blinking/clicking when I turn on the right blinker, the turn signal at the colume and dash should be fine(could be wrong on this). The problem should be at the firewall and the relay box that makes the clicking noice. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the area around that relay box? Has anyone taken that relay box out? I sure dont want to mess it up anymore than it is.

You might be able to get away with pulling the relay half way out, and getting the probes on the blades of the relay, but this is foreign territory for me- just a guess. Good luck dude, wiring problems suck hard. :drunk:

it can be the turn signal switch

I hope not, dont I have to pull the colume to replace that? Would the front turn signals work if that is malfunctioning? Also could this effect effect the passenger break light?
