Just for reference and not entirely related to the OP...

I just had an A-arm cam bolt tightened by my suspension shop -- it'd gotten itself loosened by my weekly excursions on the fire roads back in the National Forest.

Not real spirited driving -- pretty slow in places, but a bit of flexing going on here and there.

I took it into the shop because the front end seemed a little "vague" -- turns out the alignment was "self adjusting" itself.

Sounds like the shop was trying to get you off their back. .. Never heard of alignment doing that.

I agree, sounds like they were blowin smoke up your a**. I have never heard of "self adjusting" itself.

I guess I'm one of the few who wants a firm ride, JenneK, you can send her my way ;).
