Bowtie grille emblems?

I bought an aftermarket black grille, the area for the bowtie emblem is not the same size as the OEM. we’re there different size emblems over the years?

I bought an actual GM black emblem kit off Amazon, but it ended up being for a Traverse. The rear emblem is the same size & shape as stock, but the grille emblem is sized right for the aftermarket grille but the mounting tabs aren’t the same.

For reference size, the overall Traverse emblem is about the same size as just the gold on my ‘20s OEM.

Yes the badges changed with the generation. No the traverse badge is not the same.
