Brake fluid in reservoir is 90% empty.

I bought my Yukon a couple weeks ago and went to work immediately getting some things done to it. had a vehicle inspection done and was found that I need new drum shoes on rear and brake fluid flush. I knew something was going on with brakes during first drive, so got that done. Now a couple weeks later The pedal is almost going to the floor and stopping takes more effort than normal. What could cause the reservoir to be close to empty? what type of brake fluid do it need to get in her?

Its leaking brake fluid you just have to find the leak and repair it.

I rolled my first truck because of a leaky master cylinder.

yup look for puddles on the driveway, check all around the master cyln, bleeder screws, all around the abs contraption. its defiantly a death trap till its fixed

Will do.....I checked for leaks but didnt see anything nor was it anything in the driveway. Taking in soon will let you know what I find.
