Hello, new to the forum. But I have a 95 yukon with brake issue. Have brake fluid leaking out between master cylinder and plastic resivour. Changed out cylinder and braker booster. Bleed brakes a bunch no old fluid left in system all clean fluid. I know there is no more air left in system. But still have fluid leaking from between resivour and master cylinder. And brake and anti-lock lights are on in dash. And have lots of brake. Is anti-lock brake pump bad? Any help is appreciated. sorry for spelling and sentence structure. THanks for help.

go back and get a new MC not remaned. and you should not have had to change your booster if you had a leak on the MC reservoir. which lights were on before the repairs? both or just one? is your parking brake fully released?

Just bought truck booster was rusty so changed it. I did go with the reman master cylinder is there problems with them. Only anti-lock brake light was on before did swap. Acts like still air in system but i dont think so. Have put three big jugs of fluid through it.

abs light is on for a electronics problems which you need to get diagnosed at a local scanner equipped shop or the dealer. if the remaned unit has an enlarged bore it may not seal very well. and when you got it the unit was dry of brake fluid chances are they did not test it either. but also make sure your rear drums are mechanically adjusted properly. when bleeding, bench the MC if disconnected otherwise start with RR wheel then lr,rf,lf.

The cheaper Cardone Master Cylinders (and other aftermarket companies) are well known for leaking at that seal. As Sunlit mentioned, go for the new ones or at least an AC Delco unit.

You be able to return the leaking unit with no problem and then bench bleed the new one and you'll be good to go!
