ok so i put the multi switch in and nothing changed. I ended up taking the rear brake lights out and inspecting the circuit panel. I noticed that i was getting the rapid blink like the liight was going to blow from the left side only. So i swapped the panel to the other side and the same thing happened. I ordered new panels and they should be in the mail this week, My question is would one bad brake circuit panel cause both brake lights to not work?

ok so back again. I am not getting any brake light illumination from the rear passenger side only. I installed a new circuit panel back there on the one side and the blinking (like the light is blown) stopped for a bit. All the running lights work in the both rears but the one brake light will not light up. But now the rapid blink is back again. Seems kind of weird that the running lamp works but it wont shine bright when i press the brake. Any ideas? Im going to install so more bulbs to see if that changes anything as well.

problem solved. the prongs inside of the circuit panel were not lining up with the connector on the truck, it let me plug them together fine but they just were not lining up. all is well now thanks for the help, on to the next project
