Brake lights not working

The brake lights on my 99 tahoe quit working. Both left and right side and the 3rd brake light. All other lights work fine. The fuse is fine and the bulbs are fine. I had the brake light relay switch changed today and that didn't fix the problem. Any suggestions?

theres a switch on top of the brake peddle that could be bad

I agree, check the switch above the brake pedal. It's a wear item.

Check to see if your turn signals and hazard lights work as well, if they dont work along with the brake lights then the combo switch on the steering colum is bad.
