All other lights working? Running lights and reverse lights working? Turn signals work?

If so, then check your brake lamp switch and fuse . Switch is located above your brake pedal

That's what I was gonna say but with the 3rd brake light working thought maybe that wasn't the case. I am sure it's somewhere to start though.

I think ive heard that they dont run together like the 3rd n the normal brakes so i would check fuses n also grounds as the geounds are old and could have come loose or snapped

Also check your trailer wiring if you have it maybe grounded somewhere. But the actuatee under the pedal is a likely culprit.

Check for voltage at the plug on the back of the lights when the brakes are on.

The reverse lights work as we'll as the blinker and the normal lights, it's just the filament for the actual brake lights isn't lighting, 3rd brake light works so it isn't the switch, other bulbs work so it isn't ground, and it isn't the bulb

Did you test for power at the switch? Test for power at your bulb sockets/circuit board?

unknown at this time.
the brake light switch provides direct switching power to the CHMSL. the lower sides still have to go thru the turn signal switch to determine there ultimate function. so looking at internal schematic of turn/hazard switch, if individual turn signals blink in rear but not stop it has to be in the hazard section switch assembly. try cycling the hazard switch it the hopes that one of it contacts are dirty. if no joy the switch assy should be replaced. if system volts is on the white wire going into the switch assy when brake pedal is depressed and no stop light in lower rears then switch assy should be replaced both assuming no voltage is seen on yellow or dark green wires coming out of switch and going to the lamp assy's.
