Brake pad choices.

What brake pads are you using? People I bought the Denali from installed some pads from autozone don’t know which ones but they squeal like crazy and it’s driving me nuts. What do you guys recommend. Thank you!!

The first rear is the GM Genuine and the second rear is like the front pads and are the Gold/Professional and ceramics

Always do the hard ware and I always do the rotors at the same time, again, that is just me. These are what got you here but if looking for performance, I have seen the guys say they like the Power Stop kits and those come in different qualities as well.

Front nnbs z23 power stops have been silent for me so far… probably only have a couple thousand miles on them so far though. Didn’t go z26 because I was afraid they might get noisy

Usually have my kids in the car and I’m at the point where I’m cruising enjoying the drive not trying to get nowhere fast. As long as they’re good pads quiet and minimal dust it’s fine by me.

Sometimes deglazing will quiet things down and sometimes (less often), they will stay quieted down. If you replace the brake pads, make sure you also attend to the old rotors or get new ones, or you might be back to square one pretty quickly.

I have had good luck with Napa "Ultra Premium" ceramic pads on my Yukon.
