NOTE: strongly recommend Bedding in the new pads. Look it up, both with new pads and rotors & new pads and used (still serviceable) rotors.

Any pad that’s just stuck on the vehicle and then driven without bedding in ruins the contact patch between rotor and pad in my opinion.

This! ^^^ Absolutely SOP and likely the failure to do so is why so many complain about brake life and poor stopping ability. Did it with my kids driving and we had fun.

Yea, kids love to legally go fast and hit brakes hard.

Google the steps and follow them.
