I was wondering if there are any other larger rotors we are able to put on our NBS Tahoe? Im not talking about a BBK cause Im not doing that kind of driving for a BBK. Just wanted to know if I can get a larger rotor.

the rotors off the NNBS trucks are 1" bigger upfront and can be swapped to our NBS bodies with a special bracket the dealer sells. do a search you will find more info.

No special bracket, just the hardware for the nnbs will do. Caliper and bracket.

That's correct. You can buy the NNBS caliper and bracket, plus the same model rotor and it all just bolts into place. You do need at least 17" rims to have enough clearance though.

ok thanks for the help. I looked up and saw the bear +1 brakes and rotors but people said the bracket relocator broke so I was trying to stay away from that. I will look into the NNBS rotors and calipers. Again, thanks for the help.

I did the +07 and up brake upgrade on my 01 yukon.
Went with drilled and slotted all around from R1 concepts.com

I thinking of doing the same except the +07 rears I heard are actually smaller than the ones you had to start with.. Where did you toyo get you calipers?? Just the local parts store?

I'm also interested in upgrading my front brakes. I'm a newbie so what does NNBS stand for?

New New Body Style

2007-present body style. Front rotors are an inch bigger in diameter and calipers are a bit larger as well. You will need to have at least 17" wheels to clear the NNBS size rotors.
