I'm looking at upgrading my brakes all the way around and was wondering if there is a difference between the 2018 year model yukon xl and the 2019 year model. When trying to order from Wilwood, 2018 rears are available but none for 2019. I thought they were the same? I tried calling Wilwwod but the guy didn't seem to know much. All he did was the same search i did on their website. I thought the 2018 and 2019 and even the 2020 have all the same suspension in the rear. Just wondering if anyone can confirm if the rear wilwood brake kit for the 2018 will fit on the 2019 year model. Thanks in advance

I don’t know for certain but I have a good idea that they do.
They made some changes in the suspensions over the years but come to find out ALOT is still the same
When I did my suspension lift on my 07 Tahoe I got it used off Craigslist it came off a 2019 Silverado the coil overs I ordered off eBay used came off a 2020 at4
Guess what EVERYTHING bolted right up. I know that’s nothing to do with the breaks but if memory serves correctly you can swap the breaks out from a 07 to a 99 or from a 2016 to a 07s and vise versa
Hopefully someone else will chime in and correct me if I’m wrong but me and my buddy were just having this conversation about doing the 2022 ppv breaks on his 2001 Tahoe

I am thinking that they are confused. In 2019 the Chevy Silverado 1500 & GMC Sierra 1500 pickups was the first to use current platform. The 2015-2020 GMC SUV, Escalade SUV and Chevy SUV are the k2xx platform and the brake components remained the same. In 2021 the SUVs have independent suspension which makes the current SUV line not the same anymore like the previous generations which was built on the 1500 frame. Go to gmpartsdirect.com and put that you have a 2018, then a 2019 and you will see the part numbers are the same.
