So my front brakes were completely worn out, not just pads even rotors probably due to worn pads. i started to heard the squealing noise at around 18000km, told dealer to check it why brakes are making noise they said its completeley fined nothing needs to be fixed but right after 24000km i started feel vibration and gringind noise in fornt wheels took it to dealer they said rotors pads and rear calipers need to be replaced , i know my driving style is aggressive so brakes would worn out early but if they would have diagnosed it when i warned them then rotors would have been saved. i hope if u guys notice any unusual noise from brake after 20000km do check the brakes and change pads, i would be replacing mine after every 20k km from now on and planning to get brembos, to be on a safe side

Wow that is a big bill!!
ACDelco OEM GM pads 171-1129 goes for about 60 bucks.
ACDelco OEM GM rotors 177-1163 goes for about 80 bucks each.

$69 for brake fluid, $22 for brake cleaner, and $28 for a quart of their oil????????

Thanks for the reminder... not to take my vehicle to the dealer for service!

HOLY SHIT THAT BILL! $3k?!?! THAT IS INSANE! I literally would have flipped my freakin' lid right in the dealership if they would've handed me a $3k bill for replacing the brakes on my truck. And why the hell would you need new rear calipers with such low mileage on your truck? Either they're liars or you drove around with your emergency brake engaged and destroyed the rear calipers. Something isn't adding up here...

They charged you $1,028 for two rotors and $428 for the pads? Am I reading this bill correctly??

Is this UAE and not US? So its something like $760 or so USD? I thought this was in the US at first and I think the member who posted above me did, too. Lol

its is actually AED after conversion it is 776.72 dollars, seriously i was thinking why they needed to change rear calipers , they were fine and i didnt drove it with parking brake on may be they replaced it because it got rust or sumthing, my car was standing ideal for one month and my home is near sea side so lots of humidity, but still i cant be sure.

Yeah, that's a possibility. Sitting near salt water can do more damage than most people realize. I just have a hard time trusting repair shops, dealer or not. I've done all my own work on my many vehicles since I was old enough to drive and it really pays off. I can't imagine how many thousands of dollars I've saved by performing my own labor during repairs and modifications. I manage a local parts store, so trust me, I hear about all the horror stories of repair centers ripping people off. Lol. Its terrible.
