Here is a question for all my fellow tahoe/yukon owners out there. I have an 2008 LTZ with 9200 miles on it. All of a sudden it sounds as if the brake sensor is going off. this truck is babied and i mean babied. Could it be possible that this thing needs brakes? And if so could they be under warranty being it only has 9k on it? I did CALL the dealer yesterday and they told me "bring it in it should be covered" My concerns raise when they say bring it in. cause we all know once they get you in there they are not letting u go without being taken advantage of. If anyone works at or knows someone at a dealer please let me know! THX

Could just have some little rocks stucking there. See if you can see any grooves on the rotors.

I have 40K on my 07 with no issues. I would take it in to the dealer and talk with the service manager.

The truck has 9200 miles on it there should be no problems at the dealer, and if there are; just keep coming back and ***** at them! Its what I do and they usually fix it the first time because they dont want to here me complain any more.

They need to deglaze (sand/scuff)the rotor and pads, treat both side of the pads with the proper anti-squeal chemical. Do not let them tell you it is the nature of the beast because that is *********. If that still does not stop the noise in the long term ( it will definitely stop short term) make them replace the pads with a good quality ceramic pad
