Hi, I found this forum and joined today while looking for information on the net about the cost of motor mount replacement.
My wife has a 2009 Tahoe Hybrid she purchased new ( and it still looks like it) that has 84,500 miles.
She took it to the dealership today to have the oil pressure checked as the gauge started reading 20-30 lbs higher last week. She was told it was fine which is a good thing.
She was also told that she a broken left motor mount and it would be $526 to replace it OUCH. Do any of you know if this has ever been a recall on this or if GM has offered any price reduction?
We like the dealership we go to but sometimes we have had to be pushy when the Tahoe was still under the warranty to get things repaired.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Brad

Well I realized I posted it in the wrong model year. Hopefully one of the Moderators can move it to the proper place. Sorry and thanks.

oil pressure doesn't just magically climb 20-30 psi. something is booboo.
Recommend oil filter change, seafoam flush, oil filter and oil change couple days later.

Swap the motor mount yourself, there's plenty of YT vids showing how.

We spoke with our service advisor this morning and mentioned all of the information we had found on broken motor mounts and asked if GM would cover part of the cost.
She said she checked with GM service and they agreed to do the replacement for $300 instead of $525.

Thanks Tahoe Yukon Forum who ever you are, for being here.

Thanks edzaar, I changed the oil the same day she noticed the rise in pressure. It didn't seem to make any difference though.
