Hey guys:

The '93 Blazer I got recently has a broken captain's chair. As the captain, it prevents me from exerting careful control over the vehicle at all times.

All kidding aside, the metal frame that contains the slides that go into the tracks broke at the left front corner, so now there's a nice rocking-chair effect.

That's the first time I've seen one break, the PO must have been a big one.

I can probably have it welded but I'm thinking about going to my local LKQ and dissecting a seat for the parts I need. An entire seat would be nice but this is a red, power bucket seat and those can't be common.

Can I get the metal pieces from a '95-up or am I stuck with '88-94?

Thanks guys for your help.

this is the OBS section we don't really do careful here. and it will have to be used part that carrier is no longer made. i believe the mounts should be the same tho the option on seat were different.

Mine broke and I'm not "a big one". I ended up doing a racing seat. If it broke like mine the options are have it welded or replace the whole part itself. There are some springs and what not that make it tough to disassemble and reassemble correctly.
