The cargo cover in my Yukon XL will not retract automatically. Apparently, the spring mechanism isn't working on it. Has anyone been successful in repairing/rewinding one? Thanks.

Well, the one I have is in excellent shape, no rips, tears or stains, so I'd like to try to fix it if it's possible before I buy another one. I'd think that someone has repaired one before.I have 2 available for sale if you can't fix yours. I'm in NJ--I'm sure shipping won't be cheap tho.
The trick is seeing if the thing can be opened up to see what's going on inside...Well, the one I have is in excellent shape, no rips, tears or stains, so I'd like to try to fix it if it's possible before I buy another one. I'd think that someone has repaired one before.
I realize that, but I was hoping someone had already done it so I don't end up breaking it trying to pull one or both of the ends off.The trick is seeing if the thing can be opened up to see what's going on inside...
Tony, you wouldn’t have a nice tan one for a SWB, would you…?I have 2 available for sale if you can't fix yours. I'm in NJ--I'm sure shipping won't be cheap tho.

There's this one in Virginia on Craigslist: Tan Cargo Cover. I'm not associated with the ad and I don't know if he'd be willing to ship it or not.Tony, you wouldn’t have a nice tan one for a SWB, would you…?
