i have a '15 & have had not experienced this issue.

16's & 17's still have issues, but supposedly fewer than 15's
resolution is just as varied & complicated as the GM checklist for this issue.

so from reading a few forums, some of the more common fixes have been:
-get rid of bridgestone tires for something quality
-road force balance wheels
-change out front &/or rear driveshft
-disable AFM w/ either range device or a tune
-change body mounts (this is new update on 17's)

You have heard complaints from folks with 17 model? I am hoping this is not the case re the buffeting/vibration.

Not good...what are their issues with the 17? Is it short or long wheel base?

Just test drove a used mid 14' build Yukon Denali with 20k miles and the low speed booming over bumps and ear pressure was extremely obvious. Pretty much explains why it was a trade in on a new 2016 Denali. Way too much money for me to spend to deal with, plus they wouldn't budge on the $55k plus ttl price. Going to test drive a few more and if they exhibit the same issue I'll be looking into another model.

Bad news

Early feedback from 17s are in ... some still have the vibration, buffeting and booming so that stuff on improved body mounts was just a rumor ... or if true, still didn't fix the issue

I'm 95% sure that the booming I was hearing was sheet metal flexing.

Thats a bummer to hear the 2017's are having the same issues. I really wish Gm could dial this in. A lot of Tahoe/Gmc owners would be thrilled if they could find a fix.
