They cancelled my May order Monday, said I have to wait and order a 22.
Can i ask when you originally ordered? And what did you order? Which Dealership? I ordered back on June 24, wonder if they are cancelling way back to that date? Tks!

Hi all. First time posting.
I ordered a 2021 diesel Yukon XL Ultimate on 2/6/21. Went to 1100 the next week. It is still sitting at 1100. I'm working with a local dealer who isn't terribly large. Do you think that I was stuck this whole time because they didn't have allocations? I'm curious what to do. I negotiated (I think) a really good deal so I'm hesitant to pull the order and work with a large dealer. I'm guessing that I won't be able to get a '21 model anymore anyway. What happens when the order has to be converted to a '22? Do I start price negotiations and the waiting game all over?

I have an order and I'm on 5 waiting lists in case folks pull out last minute when the car actually arrrives, or they can't get financed. Just look for one as close to the one you want and call dealer and ask them to put you on the list. Honestly if you read what everyone else is going thru, doesnt look good and could be quite a wait... wishing everyone good luck!

I had a Yukon on order for 7 months with no acceptance by GM. My dealer got this one out of the blue and I snagged it. Really close to what I had ordered. Duramax with premium package. It’s awesome. For anyone waiting hang in there it’s worth the waitDC405D8F-801D-41CF-8989-46A42B79B329.png

I have been doing that for 2 months now. Every single one has already been sold before it even hits the lot
Same thing here. But i waited when i saw an ultimate package. A couple days later it was gone. Damn! Lol but it went to the wrong dealership for me anyways. The one that would bot honor GM pricing. =\

Your note about packages is not correct... I see a number of Ulitmate package Denali's in transit constantly over the past month or more. - The Yukons seem to not have any packages that are not able to be ordered right now, but the Tahoe/Suburban configurator is littered with unable to order indicators.
It is correct if you BUILD & Order with it. They are making some packages here and there and sent them out — not customer ordered however. I have also saw a few that had wireless charging and steering wheel lock while they are no longer doing those. That kind of seems like they’re built prior and waited for a chip or two to complete then sent out.

If my dealership had allocation, but they’re not accepting a premium package order, rather building and sending out very few ultimate packages- means they’re sending dealerships what they possibly ordered and never got from months ago. Right now GM is sending out inventory whenever they can.

My friend that works at GM, he cannot even get his own ultimate package picked up as they’re not building it. Was even told that if I ordered with any packages, I won’t see it until late 22 & possibly not until 23.
Another had to drop their package in order for GM to pick it up.

Best bet is to search inventory for any packages left that are incoming or already on the lots. Few exist. Not many.
Yukons are also under the same constraints as Tahoe/Suburban but if they’re the big money makers, GM will save the chips for them over the Tahoe/Suburban.

Nice! My color I’m waiting on too! :)
Premium package as well.

I’m rolling over to a 22. I have a 7-10 month wait. But possibly won’t see mine until it’s a 23. Patiently waiting. O_O
