Yes i bought a Tahoe without it and now have regrets! So here goes..
we have a Travel Trailer that we pull and the Tahoe did ok with it short distance but I want more capabilities.
1.I'm looking at installing a P3 brake controller. I need to find a mounting place for it. I Cant stand the tra mounted right at the knee level where i bang my right knee on it every time i get in. Any suggestions?
I was thinking in the hard pocket bottom of the center console?
2.Brake kits. any suggestions. PowerStop Z36, EBC, Something i dont know about.
Ive read some great reviews on the PowerStop and i've read some terrible reviews.
3.Eventually 3.42/3.73 gears. The rig doesn't do any highway traveling on a daily basis, only when dragging the trailer somewhere or random excursions. Highway time is probably less than 20% of its life.
Yes i know this doesnt change the legal max gross weights. just looking for a better towing experience than stock
I do have the EFILive from BB and 33.5" tires if that makes much difference.
Thanks for all the help.
