burnt lense after replacing hid bulbs

I recently changed out my hid bulbs from 6k to 10k and a day after having them on I noticed a little burn spot on the back of the headlight housing (chrome area above and behind bulb) I was wondering if anyone has had any problems like this.

Are u running a 55w Hid kit or 35? I've never herd of that or even checked but ill check mine and see if theres anything!

What brand and which bulb size did you get? (H13, H13-2, H13-4)

im not sure of the brand ill find out but it is a 35w kit, i didnt notice it when i had the 6ks on, i had those on for a little over a year. it is an h-13 high low beam bulb

I have H13 HiLows in 55w 8k, They make the outside of the lens hot but there is no discoloring. I'd be interested to see what the difference is..........

You have to watch out for what size bulbs you put in because I had to replace three fog lights cause some idiot kept putting the wrong size in.
