Rock auto has the kit but it’s hard to find. The cabin filters are on sale with a mail in rebate.

GM = 22759208

Dorman = 259-201

Airsept = 90019
That GM one looks like it's only a cover and no filter? I know the Dorman kit has the filter that is segmented to you can bend it as it goes in since there isn't enough room below the cutout for a normal filter to slide in.

It's the kit. Both GM and Dorman come with charcoal filter with those PNs; they are identical from what I've seen. 23101674 and CF193C are the replacement filters, segmented.

According to Rock Auto that GM part is the cover plate only, it's used with either a standard filter or charcoal filter which you need to buy separately. that's why it's only $21 instead of the $45 that the Dorman kit is. I bought the Dorman kit on Amazon and it was $43.50 for the standard filter kit (259-200) or $52 for the charcoal filter kit (259-201).

Ok, I see different variations on Ebay and Amazon. Anyways, we bought the Dorman kit and it had all three pieces, cover, screw and filter.

The activated charcoal filter is a good idea to install after the kit is first installed. All the years shluck that gets loosened and is ready to activate and stick up the ductwork will be neutralized (odor wise).

The AC Delco Professional grade filter has $5.00 mail in rebate
The AC Delco GM OE filter are a $10 mail in rebate

Both rebates are good until 6-30-18. It's prolly only good on one filter so take the $10 the charcoal version that's priced at $28.79 at R/A.

Just saw that Amazon has the kit "ACDelco 22759208 GM Original Equipment Cabin Air Filter Door Retrofit Kit with Door and Bolt" for $24 without the filter with free one day delivery on Prime. This seems to be the ticket if you get the carbon filter for $10 off too

... just did something extremely cheap .. LOL Amazon offers $10 to reload $100 virtual gift card. Paid with the Amazon store card to get another $5 off. Ordered a set of Taylor ignition wires for the 6.2L @ $64.60 and got all three for $93.05 after all the discounts and mail in rebates of $25. I'm going to Costco!
