The link I posted above will give you the parts needed. Then its just putting a ton of holes in your headliner from above, running the fibers, trimming the fibers and mounting the light source - probably in a C or D pillar. Its very easy, looks absolutely amazing in a room in the house.

The light output is extremely bright, and it can "twinkle" the stars as well. Ive done it in 2 rooms - depending on how easy it is to get into your attic and get above the room, moving insulation, etc, I did it in 4 hours (each) in two 14x14 rooms.

Really popular in the VIP car scene. Tons of different headliners done like this with all sorts of fabric and even saw one with dimond tuck.
Search VIP and there should be tons of write ups.

I'd like to see the process of doing this... I think the kids would like it.

Like, how do you make the holes for the fiber without messing up the material?
