CAI Fitment problems 03 Suburban

So I finally went out and got a spectre CAI but it doesn't fit. The intake tube hits the fan. So I took it back and tried to build my own out of PVC. Same issue. Also there is a radiator hose that looks like it will be in my way if I were able to find something to fit which doesn't seem likely. Anyone else run across this problem?

I have a 04 Tahoe with a spectre intake and it fit just fine there should be a bracket on the polished intake tube for the hose and mine does fit pretty tight in there but worked just fine

My Spectre system fit my 02 without issues.

Hmm. Maybe I should take a pic for y'all because it wasn't even close. I put a K&N on an 03 tahoe I had once upon time with no issues so I don't think I'm crazy lol

Found out the problem. Wrong intake coupler. I'm guessing it was packed wrong or something when shipped because I went to oreilly's and found a coupler that fits so problem solved!
