We have a performance section that would better answer this question. Especially since it's come up many times...

It gives you a cool sound at WOT, but unless you do supporting mods, it won't be a huge gain.

I just put a bruteforce on my truck and took it for a drive. Sounds meaner and I can def feel more power. Big difference with a BB tune and intake. Hope that helps.

Put the K&N on my last truck. Noticed some slight power increase, but no MPG increase. It did sound a lot meaner.
