Has anyone done this yet? Theres a company that makes them just for our trucks and there made of steel. They bolt onto the factory caliper giving it the look of a performance caliper. The only problem is there $189 just for a little cover.

Then theres the chinese plastic covers that are $50 that say Brembo but to me that seems a little to rice. What do you guys think?

I think your better off painting them. If they are tooo thick, the it's going to cause wheel clearance issues.

i think you'd be better off putting that $$ towards a brake kit versus covers.

Only thing they look cheep and also if you get close up you can just see they are covers. I have seen them before and you can still see the caliper under the cover.

I would be interested in giving them a try, but not for $190.00!!! I might give them a shot if they were around $80

You want the calipers (and rotors for that matter) to disapate heat and I think a cover would not help. Too much heat in brakes is a bad thing.

The rotors are meant to dissipate heat... hence why they make slotted/dimpled/drilled rotors
