I don't know about the whole Texas thing, but I'll go with it if it'll make you feel better! My sister lives in tx, I'm not wanting to convert mine right now!

SAS and 44s would be about as cool as it gets.

unknown at this time.
If the front diffy drop is only enough for the 6 inch lift, adding keys or something else to get more lift will just end up breaking half-shafts up front.

I have a 99 Tahoe, 4door 4x4, I have leveling keys in front, and 1" block in rear, on 33's! I am ordering my 6" in a week or so, I am also going to use my lift keys and block as well, now I am debating on a body lift, but not sure however I do want to run 38.5" boggers, but will also have a set of 35's for highway driving, my question is, how much lift will I have to have to run 38.5's, thank you, and also pictures will be greatly appreciated!

RCX kit will yield 5.125" plus a crank. That plus a body lift and trimming will get you on the 38.5" tires...dependent also on back spacing of wheels and wheel width.

Oh yeah, your whole front end is going to hate you. Your bank account is going to hate the front end....it is a viscous circle.

Jokes aside, our 1/2 ton trucks wear out quick with big tires like that.

My tahoe is 8" above stock and I still trimmed a little because of some tire rub during wheel travel and turning and so on. Just be prepared for some extra stuff to pop up. I'm no pro but I've built two rigs now with IFS. I will not run over a 36 on mine
