Two pics I took last night comparing Calspeed and Kooks.
As you can see there are MAJOR diffrences between the 2 collectors.
For those of you that don't know, the collector is where 70% of the power is made from a Long tube header. Other areas include Equal or Tuned length primary's, Stepped primary's, Collector length and collector scavenging spikes.
Specs on each set are,
Calspeed, 1 3.4" primary with 3" collector.
Kooks, 2" Primaray with 3.5" collector With collector spikes.
This is a collector scavenging spike.
How they look inside a collector,
Reason I am showing you guys this, is that if you have the capabilities or know a friend who does. You can cut off the bad collectors and weld on a spike and a MUCH better collector. Effectively turning some Cheap headers in to a highend set with all the bells n whistles.
