I am debating on camming my 2004 Tahoe but I don't have the money to do exhaust at the same time. What would the truck sound like cammed with stock exhaust?

it will but it will be more muted. you wont have the loud chops that you are probably expecting but you will definitely hear the exhaust note being different.

..Throwing a cam in and leaving the exhaust stock is essentially eating 6 ****** and watching golf...
You will want something better flowing...stock stuff isn't actually tooooo bad, but not good enough, plus, a little roar/rasp is a nice thing with a little cam talk.
BIGGEST thing, not sure if your even aware...you HAVE to have it tuned if you want it run correctly/get your moneys worth out of it.

You'd notice a little difference... But to get the most gains, a free flowing exhaust is a must. IMO, if your wanting to cam, I'd save my money up until I had the funds to throw the cam, tune, and at least a cat back system on it. Cam, long tubes, and a tune would net you 50 horse or so.
