Can a 05 denali throttle body fit my 01 denali?

I wanted to no if a 05 denali throttle body can fit my 01 denali?

I'm pretty sure, as long as they're both from the 6.0 liter (which they'd had to be if they're both Denali). The differences between the pre and post-03 engines are minor and mostly internal.

The 05 is drive by wire, I assume your 01 is not.

You have a different style DBW tb than the 03+ trucks. It's the same style that came on vettes, but the throttle body motor is on the opposite side. You can use this harness with LS2 tb, which is 90mm vs stock 78mm.

The throttle body is 4 bolt vs 3bolt so it's not a direct swap, you would gain the most from doing a NNBS or TBSS intake and 90mm tb from ls2. Gain about 10-20rwhp. Even more if you do cam and stuff.

But no point in going from a 01 to 05 tb. Same size.
